Inconsistent Councilor Names

1) In ME1, members of the Council are called in the subtitles by their actual names (Sparatus, Tevos, Valern). In ME2/ME3 however they "lose" their names (subtitles now saying Turian Councilor, Asari Councilor, Salarian Councilor). Same applies to the new Council members in ME3, all of whom have unique names and should be called by such.

It is confusing, inconsistent, and goes against the spirit of "unifying the trilogy".

2) David Anderson is wrongfully called "Captain Anderson" in the subtitles when a Councilor in ME2, which goes against what the character itself says (see attached screenshot).

Anderson, a central part of the trilogy, is also wrongfully called "admiral" in an email in ME2 (he only becomes an admiral between ME2 and ME3, if a Councilor). He should sign as "David Anderson" or something neutral in order to account for both possibilities.

These are the most powerful figures in the galaxy so they need more accurate representation, and thankfully should be easy fixes.

  • @Enriador If a Councilor, Donnel Udina is also wrongfully referred to as "Ambassador" Udina, which is obviously nonsensical and lorebreaking.
