Jump feature does not work. I have tried to change the jump key to several different keyboard options but it will not jump. I have come across many game situations that require the jump mode and am unable to retrieve any items that I may need to accomplish quests I have to complete. Is there any way you can fix this problem. Thank you
There is no jumping as such in Mass Effect 2. You can climb up on or over some obstacles but not jump.
The default way was basically to go into cover at the obstacle (by pressing space bar while in front of it) then press forward+space bar to climb up on/over.
I can't recall any instance of being unable to collect anything without jumping. As long as the item is highlighted and you're close enough so that it is bright blue you can activate/collect it.
We are talking about Mass Effect2 here?
There is no "Jump" key in ME2. Jumping is done with the combination of the forward key ("W" at default) and the use/cover/sprint key (space at default) while behind objects who allow you to jump over them.
Are you looking at the vehicle controls? The Hammerhead has a jump button, but Shepard can't jump.
If you're talking about the Hammerhead, try resetting your keybinds. For some reason custom keybinds can completely mess up vehicle controls.
