Hope no spoilers, but wow it would be great if they brought back the old adversaries from ME3 multiplayer into MEA muliplayer - Reapers, Geth and Cerberus. Boy do I miss fighting those guys. While they are at it bring back the old abilities, classes, weapons, and for good measure throw in all the maps. Then I'd be a very happy camper.
They need to add the Reegar Carbine from single player to multiplayer, but other than that I do think they should add new enemies to multiplayer not reapers or whatever though...
Ya sure. ^^ I heard another rumor: Trump wants to invade Brazil to get a hold of the vast banana production over there. ^^
Wait, what, Trump is coming? I'll just have a fan turned on him, he'll be too busy fixing his hair to do anything else.
And really, people, copying and pasting the old trilogy upon a potential new galaxy? Wouldn't it be more interesting if you asked them to make things which would actually make you like them, so they could ADD to the franchise, instead of just relocating the old stuff? Alas, bug-fixing first, I reckon.
In fact i miss all the ME3 weapons and their damage
Pshht, over here *wispers and waves to make you come closer to continue wispering* I have the solution for you, for 500 credits.. *waiting* have no cash? ..ok i give the first info for free..
PLAY MASS EFFECT III *shouted all of a sudden into your ear*
First thing to keep in mind is that BioWare told us that all MP DLC will be free to play for everyone who owns the game, so any DLC in that regard should be free. And it's very possible that the gradual release of the new characters ARE the MP DLCs, which get released on the backend rather than through a manual update that prevents us from playing for a little while.
A second thing, and far more prominent, is that seeing Geth, Reapers, Collectors, and Cerberus come back is VERY unlikely, outside MAYBE special weekly events, much like this week's which showcases what I'm PRETTY sure is a Habitat 7 map v. the Remnants in a Kett facility---Or more prominently, last week's Boss Wave mission with a Kett-made Berserker (cool touch by the way, BioWare, looking forward to further weeklies).
In the case of canon possible enemies in MP, Geth wouldn't make much sense, seeing as unless they are like Legion and hundreds~thousands of Geth rolled into one, they would be only mindless drones, more or less. Collectors, and Reapers, would have NO reason to be in the Andromeda Galaxy, as well, seeing as their effects are limited to the Milky Way (otherwise, the ending to ME3 would HEAVILY alter the events of ME:A). In the case of the Geth stashing in the Quarian Ark, that's plausible, though I'll cover that ahead in playable classes.
Now, to play devil's advocate in regards to the POSSIBILITY of these making a new hostile appearance, the only ones I would see popping up would be Cerberus agents with the Outcasts, seeing as there ARE "former" Cerberus agents that came with the Arks, such as a pair of scientists that try forcing a group of people to share a collective consciousness, or Cora Harper, who is fairly likely to be related to the "Illusive Man" who's first name escapes me at the moment..
Now, for PLAYABLE CLASSES, Geth could be plausible, almost, with them being similar to Legion and being a many-in-one, with them being able to compact themselves enough to get through scans that were searching for Geth/weapons in ME1 (can't remember which exactly). Cerberus agents are fairly viable as well, as pointed out in above spoiler (spoiler free version is more or less there are a few that are DEFINITELY connected some way or another to Cerberus.) As for Reapers and Collectors, again, there's no reason for them to be in Andromeda--in an interview, they OUTRIGHT say there are no Reapers in the Andromeda Galaxy, which means no Collectors as well.
What really would be great...uhm in the very beginning of your new game you chooose your chars race (Human, Asari, Turian) and with that choice you pick an race unique story arc, because yours start position changes and perhaps even the difficulty because if the happenings of each others cryo ship from the human arc counts for the Asari and Turian arc aswell then an Asari pathfinder would have to deal with much more than only a few Kett in a broken planet. Well think about it, I would love it.
Yeah i know..wont happen ever, far to much work for a dlc and the impact would be far to deep into the game.
@Simpson3k Yeah, that probably wouldn't work at all in this game with how personal it is supposed to be around Ryder(s) and the human ark in particular. Hopefully another game though, I wish they would have let us choose races in this game. Hopefully in the next game they do it like Origins so I can be not another generic human. Massive replayability in that for someone like me; reason I still play Inquisition from time to time.
