[Kadara] No scanning sounds from scanner

Product: Mass Effect Andromeda
Platform:PC
What edition do you have? Standard Edition
Physical Disc or Digital version? Digital Based Install
Summarize your bug On Kadara (only), Ryder's personal scanner emits no ambient noise. (No sound when opening or closing as well as no 'scan line' sounds when the scanner is out.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How long has this issue been happening? Always Happens

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? For me it simply starts when I enter Kadara, from space and from a loaded save. No special steps required other than being on the planet.

As the title suggests. When I pull out my scanner on Kadara, the ambient scanning sounds are gone. SAM is still functional and still beeps when there are objects nearby which can be scanned, but the actual scanner emits no noise when I open or close it, as well as when it's just open.

This issue occurs every time I travel to Kadara, but it does 'fix' itself when I leave the planet. So far no other planets have this bug from my experience.

    No helmet on Kadara: save and load game. Helped me.

    No scanner sound seems to be random on the nexus as well.

    I think it is more to do with the new Frostbite engine than with ME:A because users have reported it occuring across platforms and with other games based on frostbite.  i do get random dropouts and laggy graphics even on a GTX1080.

    Don't think there is a solution but if I find the original post I will link it here in case there are any fixes yet.

    Still happening in 2021. Problem is just as described — started in Kadara Port after speaking with Slone, and then slowly spread to other areas. I wonder if it's something wrong with my save file or if the game just bugs out at some point.
