Yeah, as much as it pains me to say it this was just a cash grab where instead of accepting responsibility like No Man Sky creators did they left the problems of the Trilogy (ME3 main fault is on the second game not carrying the main plot forward) unresolved.
Per the Normandy upgrades they only used the ones which were essential in beating the Collectors mission without casualties and ignored the rest as in the original version.
Rather than look at all the work the Modding community was making for the last 10 years restoring broken content they just slapped a coat of paint on the first game, fixed some save transfer bugs and left the third game as it was mostly because hey, artistic interpretation is more important, I wonder if that's something CD Projekt Red learned when they made Cyberpunk 2077.
