I am on my 2nd playthrough of ME1, I wanted to max my level in the game and I am on Virmire now. The XP for level 30 I believe says 660100, but I am way over that pushing 670k XP and level 30 hasn’t happened yet. Anyone else experiencing this? I also made an edit to this to note I am on Xbox Series X Edit:I seemed to have fixed the level 29 to 30 issue by switching to classic, saving, and reloading the save and switching back to legendary, however now I am stuck at level 59 in classic, I maxed out the XP and “should” be 60 in classic. Im trying to port ME1 to ME2 but ME2 import only recognizes the classic level, not the legendary edition. Will I get all the bonuses?

I was worried it was a bug that happened when you switched to classic mode and the game got confused because apparently Lv.29 = Lv.57 but if someone else is experiencing it

@EA_David I can confirm the issue on Series X.This screenshot is on playthrough #2 of ME1, uploading my playthrough #1 end save (which reached level 27).I kept the game settings consistently on Legendary version (30 levels) for both playthroughs. It's not down to option switching on my part.You can see the XP has gone beyond the necessary 662k required to trigger level 30. Hope this helps.

@SofaJockeyUK So I beat ME1 again last night and Classic was 59, Legendary was 30. I tried to do the same thing to make the change but nothing was working. I have no idea why... However, when I imported my ME1 save to ME2, I got all the perks and bonuses as you would at level 60. To break it down, I got over 1mil credits, started at level 5, 10k each resource. Its really weird why level 60 wouldnt pop but somehow it still recognizes it...If you are willing, continue your ME1 game with level 30/59 and ride that over into ME2.

@SofaJockeyUK Try doing this, it worked for me.Change to classic, save your game, reload that save, see if progress changed to 59, revert to legendary to have level 30. Hopefully that helps.Im just confused to why its 30/59 instead of 30/60.

@OptimusPrime359 Yea I didn’t switch from legendary to classic. This just happened when I beat Noveria and I noticed I was over the required XP for 30. No idea why this happened and sadly I don’t have a save to revert to since I didn’t think something like this was gona happen.

@EA_David I think I may have solved the issue however, I’m a little confused. So what I did on Xbox was switch the game leveling from legendary to classic, saved the game, then reloaded the save and it set my character to level 59. (It said 57 before, 29 with legendary leveling) in legendary and level 30. So I got the highest level now.

However my new question is shouldnt 30 be 60 if I was to switch between LE leveling and classic? Do I get the bonuses to ME2 with 30/59? I am slightly confused.

EDIT: I'm now at Classic 59, though I know others have also got stuck on classic mode, so I'm heading on to ME2 with my level 55 character.

Hi all,
It may have something to do with legendary level system beacuse for level 60 in normal mode you require a lot more exp than 30 on legendary and when you hit max lvl game disable exp bar but menu option still alows you to change level system from legendary to normal and other way around.
I did somehow fixed it but i dont know how as i did few things at once. Possibly because i had lvl 60 exp and changed to legendary level system so game see max exp and auto level up and then game disable exp bar.
