You fire some weapon
Event triggers play sound from Host to all other players.
If one player doesnt play sound then error .goes back to Host then to other players.
Or something like that.
Its not down to the engine or the game its down to other players and their systems. Different matter on Client Server games but i wouldnt pay £15 a month for this level of gameplay.
Devs are not going to come on this forums to read comments. Thats a well know fact.,
Devs, what devs? The team has been broken up with only a skeletal crew left to 'support' the player base whilst the Mass Effect series has basically been *-canned.

The devs who create the patches. Plus as @Skauron rightly stated the problem is now worked on by the Frostbite team at DICE.
As for the "canned" part, right now all we have are rumours. That major parts of the dev team took different tasks after the release is completely normal, the same happen after ME3 was finished, you don't need so many people for DLCs and patches.

I hope that we see another Mass Effect game with lessons learned from Andromeda.

nothing more frustrating than losing sound, killing the ascendant, and then getting sync killed from behind by a fiend that you didn't hear 🙂
