Low FPS FIX (windows 11)

Hi,

I had issues with this game on windows 10 pro,

With low FPS drops during battles and in citadel.

Latest patch and solutions on the net and this forum did not fix the issue for me.

I have installed windows 11 pro insider preview and it has fixed all my issues, without any game tweaks,

I can run game at smooth 60 FPS in 4k and triple monitor at 5760*1080.

My system is ryzen 9 5900x, 32gb RAM, RTX 3080.

If like me you keen to play this and had issues with low fps in Win 10, I would upgrade to Win 11 and try running the game again.

It fixed the issue for me.

Happy gaming

  • Great that is good to know,

I was concerned when posting this that the increased performance may have been unique to my system,

Good to know at least two other people have had better performance.

    Hope it helps more people.

    Happy GAMING all.

  • Cool let me know how you get in,

I installed windows 11 the other day and so far it seems to run and load all my games ok.

The only issue I have encountered for gaming is with nvidia gamestream as detailed in this reddit post below.

    https://www.reddit.com/r/ShieldAndroidTV/comments/obpe9x/gamestream_and_windows_11_preview_build/

But I plan to play in in triple monitor setup anyhow for the extra precision with M&K so gamestream glitch doesnt bother me much,

I am sure this will get fixed soon,I have reported issue to both nvidia and microsoft

    Happy gaming

OK, there are still frame drops on the Citadel and the uncharted worlds for me, but the drops on the Citadel are distinctly less severe and the frame rate is stabilising much sooner.

Wile I get minimum FPS around 80 on Windows 10 it never drops under 110 now. (On the Citadel.)

I did not had real stutter problems before, but in the areas with the drops it still feels more fluid now.

Did not made a side by side comparison on the planets until now.

  • Hey there.

Just dropping in to confirm that upgrading from Win10 Pro to Win11 fixed all my terrible FPS issues with ME:LE, especially in ME2 and ME3.

Now I only have the occasional hiccups, which are very obviously parts of the game that were never fully optimized to begin with.

My system: AMD RX 6900 XT, Ryzen 7 3700X, 32GB RAM

  • I have upgraded to windows 11 recently and ever since then, a few minutes into a game (5-10 minutes) the game slowly starts losing fps. This never happened with windows 10 pro and i have already opened up my pc and cleaned it because i thought it was just my pc overheating at first but the pc was clean with no dust. After i close the game with task manager my pc still has like 5 fps and the only way to fix it is by restarting the pc. All the other games work but fifa is the only one with this issue. If anyone has a fix please let me know. i have been trying to play with some friends but with this issue the game is unplayable. I have also updated all my drivers and looked thru any software like razer the might be limiting my fps but nothing is wrong. Also my pc is not bottle necking at all its completly normal.

    specs:

    Ryzen 7 3700x

    GTX 1660 6gb

    16gb ram 3000mhz

    1.5 tb ssd
