The Mass Effect 1 flickering graphics issue:
I know this problem has been around for a while. And it really ruins the game - makes it unplayable.
But I don't know the solution.
Can anyone help me out ??

This is actually about the 3rd time I've purchased this game over the year. Once in Box, then Steam, now here.
The flickering issue has occurred in past, but I forgot how to defeat it.
PC
My specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro
DirectX 11.0
ViewSonic VA2702w monitor
