Mass Effect 1 No way of playing side missions and dlc

I have just completed mass effect 1 legendary edition on ps5 and am disapointed that a 15 year old issue is still not fixed. When the game ends there is now way of doing the all the side missions and dlc. There is also no warning to save the game before ilos. Almost all players of the new mass effect game have experienced this issue. I have a save of on ilos. Cant this information be made so that when i finish the game a second save is made that has nothing to do wit me2 I come back to the normandy and do all my side missions then beat the game again and a save for me2 is made and another if you want to continue okaying the game. Altough the game is old it is do-able. Please dont pull a EA move on the masseffect comunity. If this game is properly fixed more people will come back for the game.
