mass effect 1 spectre weapons not showing

Access denied error when trying to DM:

Standing in front of C-Sec requisitions. Over 1mil credits, no spectre VII.

Found another work around. All you need to do is leave Ashley to die on Virmire and the next time you see the C-Sec officer, he should have the weapons.

No really, that resolved the issue for me. The Council grounded me then gave me the most powerful weapons in the game. 

Had the same problem and I was wondering if it was a bug...guess it is one. 😢

The weapons eventually did show up for me. I had hit the max credits cap, but I'm not sure if that's what triggered it. I was also level 27.

@Fred_vdp ya same, but it was at the end of the game i was level 28 and the mk x showed up. the mk viii that shows up earlier in the game still not showing, and im on my second playthrough.

I can confirm that this bug exists.

There is a workaround, but it's dependent on you having a hard save earlier in the game before you become a Spectre. This is for PC. Not sure about consoles.

The workaround is as follows:

- Hard save your game.

- Load up the earlier save.

- Sit through Shepard's Spectre initiation speech in the Citadel Tower.

- Visit C-Sec requisition officer in the C-Sec section of the Wards.

- Ensure the Spectre gear is in his inventory.

- Load up your current save.

- Spectre gear should now be available for purchase from the guy on the Normandy, and the C-Sec guy in the Citadel.

Note: In the original game, it was required to have 1000,000 credits on your first playthrough before Spectre gear became available. I've no idea if this is still the case with the Legendary Edition. If you follow the steps above, and still can't see the gear for sale, it's possibly due to you having less than 1000,000 credits.

Yup, same, none showing up for sale.

The level 7 ones showed up when I first got to the Citadel, but now they will not appear at any store. Tried getting all the licences, but not even the normandy merchant has these weapons.  I'm almost level capped, in original game would have been offering level 10 versions by now.

Sucks if we can no longer get these.

Same, showed up the first time I visited (and couldn't afford) - never again.

You should be able to load a save or start a new char, get to the point where you become a spectre and go directly to the c-sec officer to look at the gear. Once you do it should appear on broken chars as well. I'm not willing to play the into again but if someone has a save from around then maybe it works for you.

I can confirm this works, but only for that one time you're on the citadel. As soon as you leave or re-load, they're gone again.
