Mass Effect 2 - Shepard's face replaced with all black after import
After importing my character from Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 1), Shepard's face is replaced with all black. I can only see his eyes. I have tried importing multiple times. I have tried tweaking the character in customizations, but every time, I have the same issue.
I also tried starting a new character in Mass Effect 2 and just using the Genesis DLC to fill in the back story, but when Shepard wakes up at the beginning of the game, he has the black face.
Importing older characters seems to work fine for me though.
Answering my own question here. Deleting and re-downloading the game to the Xbox One seems to have resolved the issue.
