mass effect 2 crashing after i press a key on the press any key menu

hey ive been playing mass effect 2 for a while and it was fine but all of a sudden it started crashing after i press a key on the press any key menu can i get some help please thanks

If you have Mass effect Trilogy ,please try this:

  1. In binaries directory:
  2. Rename MassEffect2.exe as MassEffect2Launcher.exe
  3. Rename ME2Game.exe as MassEffect2.exe

i tried that and it hasnt changed anything
