Mass Effect 2: Grunt Loyalty mission Thresher Maw

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I feel like the boss fight with the Thresher Maw is incredibly difficult even on Normal and Casual difficulty.  Its spit attacks do damage to Shepard even if it mis...

You don't have to kill it you can just wait for the timer to run out unless you're after the achievement. The stone pillars and rail at the center platform can't be destroyed and provides you some cover from the spit. If you want to kill it the cain will drop it to half health.

I find the Particle Rifle works well.

I can kill it on insanity difficulty with that.
