Run around. I've played on insanity, it wasn't anything special.

Gotta mention though, I always play as infiltrator on insanity, so my cloaked sniper shots do kinda crazy damage on armors, and I also brought Garrus with his armor-piercing rounds for this mission, so these factors also made the fight quicker.

Anyway, by running in circles, I think I got hit only one time, because Shepard did the infamous ME2 "sprint in one place" bullshite.
