@TheMemeFella Try moving the folder with your ME2 saves in it to the desktop. Saves are located here:
Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save\ME2
If that doesn't help, open this file path:
[game install location]\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME2\BioGame
and move the Config folder to the desktop.
You can put the saves back if removing them doesn't make a difference.

Thanks a ton for the suggestion since I'm at a total loss for what to do, but neither of those worked. I tried them each individually and then together and it still booted me out. The only change was that after moving them both together the black screen stayed for a few seconds longer than normal to the point I thought it had worked, if that tells you anything. Thanks again though i'm surprised to get any response on the damn ea forums

Please create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.
