Mass Effect 2 Legendary Edition huge and small bugs which need to be fixed

Hi! I just playing the first half of the Mass Effect 2 Legendary Edition now, and I think it has some issues. I didn't find these bugs, but I really concerned about them, because I think it shows that the developers didn’t treat respectfuly the second game, when they remastered it. I'm addressing this to the BioWare’s team.

First, a big one: there's a there's a big dark void at the Human Reaper's room. It covers the bottom of the room and everything that goes into it. The black void even absorbs the falling Human Reaper. It's looks like as if bottom of the room is missing completely. It's not a little missing detail, it's a huge graphics bug. Now, because of this ugly black void, the whole level and all the scenes in it looks like a semi-finished work. How on Earth can this happen in a finished(?), full price remastered? This is just unacceptable quality, it ruins the level’s art completely.

Other thing: why does some of the female member’s of the Cerberus are not wears the Cerberus uniform on Normandy-SR2? Maybe because the BioWare team only could solve a technical problem like this, but even if this is the case, it’s still a lazy looking solution. A small but important world building detail is lost because of this. I really hope they will fix it.

And many other little, but important detail is lost: like the holographic interfaces are less complex in the remaster, they are just flat now compared tot the original game. Some of the the (original game’s) reflection are gone too. Here’s a video about it. I not agree with everything in this video and with the creator's other videos, but it shows some of the problems with the game.

And there’s other bugs with Mass Effect 2 (Legendary Edition) too, like missing achievements what we unlocked in the first game, and other achivement related bugs. There’s a broken game time counter in the save/load menu too (resets to zero every time I exit from the Legendary Edition).

The first game’s remaster is a great work, so why the second game’s (and maybe third too? I hope not.) reamstered is feels so rushed? As much as I loved the first reamstered, so much I disappointed in the second. I don’t expect huge changes, like in the first game’s remaster, just bug fixex, because the second, remastered game has more problems than the original version ten years ago.

These are not game breaking glitches, but added them together they are can undermine the experience for big, decade old fans like me. No such bugs and problems were allowed in the original games, so I really, really hope they will be fixed, for the sake of the fans, and for BioWare reputation. I know it’s business, but don’t play with the fans respect! I know the following patch (or the next after that) will not fix all the bugs, and of course, it’s alright, but I hope that you do not leave support anytime soon. This game needs more fix!

Thank you for reading! And keep up the good work! Support this game and (sometimes a little harsh) community!

A fan’s letter from Hungary!
