This is the default intro when you don't import and have the Genesis DLC installed. Unfortunately, with the Legendary Edition, they default to this version of the scene even if you're importing, which really shouldn't happen.
I posted a bug thread about it some time ago: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Mass-Effect-Legendary-Edition/PC-BUG-Mass-Effect-2-prologue-doesn-t-acknowledge-imported/m-p/10346312

@draconiam I agree, and some sloppy bugs like this one are the reason why I think the original ME2 with mods is still better than the remaster. I think they did an incredible job with Mass Effect 1, but I wish they put the same amount of care in its remastered sequels.

There is more than one MOD for ME3 that I would love to place in my PS4 (hopefully PS5 soon) LE version.- holger14055 years agoHero+

I agree with @Fred_vdp and you that Bioware could have done more in the LE, being it more bug fixes for longe known bugs, more and detailed graphic settings on the PC and other stuff.
But it is still a edition that combines 3 games and all the DLCs with clear graphical and gameplay improvements for the price of one.
Make no mistake, Bioware still put a lot of work into this edition, especially into ME1.
Imho just criticizing it more objectively would save you some hate.😉
