Mass Effect 2 Origin Version: Monolingual? Why's that?

Hello board members, hello community.

I bought ME 2 on DVD when it came out. My (German) retail version is multilingual and includes English, German, and various European languages other than those.

It's the first time I've tried to download the game from Origin instead of using the DVD setup, and wow: It's German only. I contacted support via live chat. The ... "English" ... this support staff member used was not very clear, but I think they were trying to tell me it's not possible to play my Origin version in English. They can't do anything to help me.

Is there any way to accomplish this? Can I install the game from the DVD, then copy the files into Origin? Would this work? I highly doubt that, but if someone has had the same problem in the past, maybe you can help me.
