Mass effect 2 Romance glitch
I’m trying to do a romance after suicide mission but it seems the screen goes completely black I can access the pause menu and when I go to squad the character screen is completely black like I can’t...

There have been quite a few posts about how the ME2 romances are glitched but that last part is new to me.
@draconiam I believe the squad points menu glitch maybe in tandem with the romance glitch because for what I remembered when I first played mass effect 2 on Xbox 360 after I complete the suicide mission and I was able to romance someone afterwards after the initial dialogue to Lock in the romance and went straight to the loading part of the game with the ship or the mass relay loading screen happened and then went to Romance scene now I have actually just thought of this could it be because the game loads a bit faster on the new consoles that maybe the Romance Scene can’t load properly like it can’t load at its proper pace cause if you can compare to the original version of the game to Le that might be something to look at
- @draconiam all I know about the squad menu glitch is that after I’ve done the initial Lock in .4 romancing with either Male Shepherd Romance options apart from Kelly and samara Who are typically romance options but don’t have romance scenes The screen goes completely black you can hear the background noise you can hear the character moving and you can pause to the menu Like you can load you can save a file you can go to the squad mates menu you can do everything that you can do when you pause the game like it’s normal no cut scene which I believe in itself may be a glitch to because what I remembered with the original version of the game after you discussed romance with a potential romance option in the game and have that Lock in point it goes straight to the loading string and then goes to the cut scene for the romance now I don’t know if it works in terms of romancing works before the suicide mission or not I haven’t really tried it to romance anyone before the mission I may try that and see if that works but yeah it seems like something isn’t working properly so I’m hoping it’s addressed soon by the developer because I don’t Think a lot of people would be too happy with this type of bug especially those were trying to get all of the achievements they can from this game
- @dylan881 (Sarcasm) I managed to find the Paramour 3 Trophy/Achievement, it's on sale on the Bioware Store as a great and lovely pendant that is so worth $45 now, no it will not award you with the digital reward. (End sarcasm).

But in all seriousness I’ve just noticed something involving the bug I noticed that the codex background screen is completely black as well do I need things are visible Are the big codex name the funny looking little almost like a square little things like one green and Three red orange ones along with the categories primary and secondary along with the various things in these two items such as the council races citadel and galactic government now I still can’t think this something wrong with the loading screen mechanism go to the cut scene Now what I might do is triggered the romance before the suicide mission and see if it works properly in unlocking the achievement/trophy and I might also restart a new gameplay as well
