Mass effect 2 won't install (DirectX internal error)

I bought the Mass Effect trilogy, and it's impossible to install ME2. I've tried everything that I found here (manually installing DirectX didn't work, executing  all the vc2005 files neither) and  "...

posting both the directx diag and the reliability monitor data here, but the reliability is in a .xml file format.  still having no luck getting any of ME2 or 3 to run, and it's even saying i don't have some of the extra DLC for three i purchased before all this started.
