Mass Effect 3 Activation issues...

It was discussed in the Announcements to the right of the forum. There are currently issues for Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3, Crysis, and Plants vs Zombies. They are currently working on the problem.

What I don't get is how the hell this happens from a DIGITAL purchase.... I mean if it were a disc code having issues or a redee code I'd get ti but I bought it on their digital store and intalled directly and immediately yet it still manages to have activation issues wtf?

They are in maintenance....will be at least. I know it doesn't connect directly to the problem but it might mean something down the line.

As for how it still happens with digital purchases...I'd imagine that regardless that information is stored within servers or perhaps even in variables within the server. If the server has a problem with storing that content, it could do something like this.

But then again, I'm no EA representive so take it with a grain of salt.

Some players have reported that after recently downloading and installing specifically Battlefield 3, the first Crysis, Mass Effect 3, or Plants vs. Zombies, that their game does not activate in their Origin My Games list.

We're investigating this issue and are working to get you back into your game as quickly as possible.

Can you confirm what your live chat support agent said? Is it REALLY going to be 2 to 3 days before we may see a fix?

has anyone managed to fix this or do we just need to wait for ea to do it

Christ, they said 2-3 days? All I wanted to do was finally play the multiplayer with my friends yet Origin somehow screws up a direct download this badly? Slow unsatisfying "updates" to the issue that aren't really updates so much as they are just representatives just repeating themselves over and over doesn't really help either.
