Mass Effect 3: Cannot Activate
I've been trying to play the original Mass Effect 3 that I bought for PC 5 years ago on origin, but it continuously says that it cannot activate on my account for some reason. I checked multiple times to make sure this is indeed the account I own this game on, but ever since switching to the new EA app I've been unable to play the game. Clicking any of the options on this error message simply directs me to login on my account again, which yields the same result.
I would very much appreciate any help on this matter.
- Make sure EA app and Steam are closed.
- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
- Move the "License" folder to your desktop. (It must be gone from the phat above.)
- Restart the PC > Test.
