Mass Effect 3 Main Menu Freeze
Like everyone, I'm sure, I was extremely excited to hear that Mass Effect 2 and 3 were backwards compatible on N7 Day! However, to my disappointment, now that I have it installed and all my DLC redownload, it freezes on the menu when checking for downloadable content every time. I have done everything possible to fix this issue, including all of the steps and known issue forum.suggestions. Nothing is working. Please help.
I got it working with the help of Bob from Microsoft Tech support. This is what we did:
I went into the Settings, went down to disc and blu-ray settings, and cleared the blu-ray persistent storage.
Then I turned the Xbox One off by holding the off button on the console for FIVE seconds.
Then I rebooted, waited for the Xbox to go through the full boot procedure (green screen with the three animated dots).
Then I started the game and it ran.
I guess it had something to do with corrupted files.
