Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer issues

I hope someone can help me with this problem.When I start up the ME3 multiplayer I play fine.With the occasional lag I can deal with,the problem comes up when I earn certain achievements I lose the connection to the server.Then I have to reconnect and start all over losing any weapon or shield mod I had equipped.This is especially frustrating when it happens in the middle waves.I don't have this connection problem with any other game I play regularly.Aside from said lag every other game I play online doesn't disconnect me.To give you an example,Friday I was playing on fire base hydra.Then at wave 3 the achievement indicator pops on my screen telling me I played 100 missions on Fire base Hydra.Then after 10 or 15 seconds the screen tells me I've lost connection to the server and must connect again.That same day I got an achievement for melees.It didn't disconnect me with that achievement.Would I be having this problem if my EA/Origin account wasn't properly linked with my Xbox live gamertag?If that's a possibility along with other solutions, I would be grateful if somebody could help me with this problem I have.Thanks
