Mass Effect 3 Music Question during Multiplayer

If I play music during multiplayer can others hear it? (that would be scary). In the alternative do others hear weird feedback (experience I had just a moment ago). Don't want to harsh anyone experience playing the game - at the same time I enjoy listening to music while killing animated pixels. I do not have a microphone so I can't really ask anyone. Just head phones.  Thanks in advance.

If you mean like music on a stereo or in another program on your computer then no, other players can't hear it while you are playing since you don't have a microphone.

The feedback probably happened because you got your headphones too close to a speaker or other source of sound.

Not sure about the feedback thing (wasn't really 'feedback' just a weird reoccurring sound) when the player joined my team it almost sounded like he turned it on... which was what got me thinking.  Anyhow - Late last night someone joined my team and then started playing music - could see the mic bar thingymabob moving and the whole nine yards. I was just curious how it works.  Thanks for the response.

This happens when someone sets 'stereo out' as their microphone. Some trolls enjoy turning on some music and then sends that to the other players as microphone input, even though it's their audio output.

I was once in a game where someone did this with porn clips.

Interesting, must have been a completely new game feeling. 😉
