My Mass Effect 3 DLCs cannot load anymore without an online pass?

I cannot access the multiplayer any longer. Getting error messages - please see the attached files. Please advise.

Regards,

Ionel

This is a Bug, the online pass was abolished a long time ago.

Only EA support can help you here.

    • The link to EA's Support is here. If you are not from the US change the country in the top right corner.
    • Choose "Contact us" (Top Bar) and then Choose "EA app" from the list. (Or search for it.)
    • Choose PC > Choose "Manage my Account" > "Can't log in" > Select contact Option.
    • You should get a chat option now. (Please note the business hours.)

You also could try EAs Support on Twitter or on Facebook.

If you still don't see a chat option it might be that Browser add-ons or security software is blocking it.

    Hi,

Thank you for your answer. I've contacted EA following the steps you mentioned. I have a case open for it now, only not much is happening at their end. I just got a generic answer on how they're working on the issue and nothing else. A bit frustrating if I'm honest. In any case, thank you for your help, it's much more than EA is willing to do, apparently. After playing some 9000 hours in multiplayer, I guess it's time to call quits.

    Regards,

    Ionel

    @V4FUT

You need to go into a live support session with a EA rep, either by chat, over Twitter/Facebook or phone.

Point them to this thread that has links to additional threads about the same problem in it.

    Thanks again for the answers.

After two weeks of playing ping pong with 5 different EA employees I got the following:

    Hello ,

Hello, I'm xxxxxxx and I hope you're doing good.

I've understood that you're unable to access DLC and multiplayer in Mass Effect 3 and I'll help you to the best of my abilities.

I request you to kindly perform some more troubleshooting. Kindly download the latest version of the EA app and clear caches.

    https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

I would also like to inform you that 'Mass Effect 3' is a sunset game. That means there are no more game updates or bug fixes, and online multiplayer might not be available.

Should you have any further questions regarding this or any other issues, please do not hesitate to let us know.

You can also find answers to common questions on our Help Center at "http://help.ea.com" or ask our community experts by visiting Answer HQ at "http://answers.ea.com"

Thank you once again for contacting EA.
Stay safe and take care of yourself.

How it goes - Employee 1 sends an email acknowledging the case and expressing their sorrow for the experience you have. They ask for email(forgetting already they used it already to email the message to you), nickname and then they don't respond.... Employee 2 takes over, feeling hurt because of your poor EA experience with both the game and their Customer Service and promises to put a stop to it. Don't break out the champagne yet because, you know it, once you reply they never respond.....Employee 3 does the same and I am asking him why is it that EA office clerks never respond and follow up on their cases. Bad idea, as you may have guessed, they don't reply with an answer. I'm getting another email a few days later from Employee 4 & add a few more, Employee 5. The emails are variations of the above, but they're trained to be consistent and never email the customer twice.

Somewhere along the line you are requested to jump through hoops with things that may affect the online experience like -throw your router away, buy expensive instead; contact ISP, tell them EA is knocking at your door but they're not let in; tell your neighbor to stop yelling since the frequency he uses conflicts with the EA server, etc, etc.

Don't waste your time with them if you can help it.

    Regards,

    V4FUT

@V4FUT Hey. I took a look at the cases you have on the Online Pass. Sorry to see that you have been having an issue with that. The account has been notated with what to do and the case(s) you have I sent over for review.

With these, you have to have live support make changes to the account, so unfortunately, in order to get this resolved, you will need to contact support again. I would advise just contact chat and not over email. Let them know that we notated the account on what to do so there is no more confusion on this issue.
