Mass Effect 3 Profile Progress reset

I have been playing Mass Effect 3's multiplayer on the Xbox. It's been a few years since I actively played it. When I opened up the multiplayer mode, it treated me as if I were a new player. Which is not supposed to be the case.

I had unlocked a good number of characters, including the Cabal and the N7 paladin. I had (at some points) paid some of my own money for microsoft points. Now though, when I access multiplayer, none of progress is there. None of the things I unlocked are available to me. My profile is treated as an entirely new player. 

Full disclosure, I moved country and swapped my xbox's region accordingly. I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out why my progress would be completely reset. And changing my xbox's region is the only thing I can think. I'm hoping someone can either confirm or help determine how best go about fixing it.
