Mass Effect 3 won't launch, says unidentified game

I bought Mass Effect 3:N7 edition through Steam and it was working fine for all of last week, but when I tried to launch it on Friday evening it came up with an error. It says that to play Unidentifi...

Try this:

  • Make sure Origin and Steam are closed.
  • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
  • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
  • Move the "License" folder to your desktop.
  • Test.

      What happens if you start the game in Origin?

        The start button is missing in origin, there’s just a blank space where it should be.
