Mass Effect Andromeda
So no mention of Mass Effect Andromeda at E3! Any thoughts? I reckon dlc plans will still be announced at some point, reckon there still just spending most there time with patches n stuff.........
Hi Danimal838
I am all on board with your threat, but please, for the love of god, can you but in the headline what this thread is actually about.
Not just call this threat "Mass Effect Andromeda" but rather something like "MEA's future / No mention at E3"
It is really annoying when people use generic headlines that can mean anything.
BUT NOW my actual reply
EA not mentioning MEA at E3 speaks volumes. They consider MEA a failure and it is probably "dead" at this point.

That is a shame because I had my issues with MEA, but overall I had a good time playing it.
Way back, when ME2 and ME3 released they were completely outspoken about future DLC. Not necessarily the content itself, but the fact that there WILL BE future content.
Show is over
I don't think we will see any DLC for it although it was more or less promised in the finale of the game.
I was really hoping for a DLC closing the Quarian Arc and more importantly to me, the Jien Garson's murder case.
MY PREDICTION
EA will shelve Mass Effect for at least five years until someone remembers that they have an IP called "Mass Effect" and then EA is going to make a reboot that will just be "Battlefield in Space"
Because EA only has three game concept (Need for Speed, Battlefield and Fifa) every other game needs to be just like those games :-)
Hi LocoShep
I did not know I was rude. If that is that case, I will apologize.
Of course, the "EA only has three games"-point was overly simplified. Sim City or Mirror's Edge for instance.
But here is the problem. The three games I mentioned are EA's cash cows, so I believe, when a series is underperforming, or EA's suits think they can do better, they will try to tap into the audience of their biggest seller and generally make it more shooter-esque and simplified. That is why I did not like ME3 very much.
MEA, of course, was different. They went back to being about exploration and I do in fact like the game.
