Mass Effect Legendary Edition crashes at splash screen

I have tried a lot of things to get any of my LE ME games to launch and to no avail. I can enter the launcher just fine, but I cannot load into any of the actual games and experience a crash at the s...

    UPDATE! I got it working I am a genius, I moved "trilogy gamer profile" "trilogy gamer profile copy" and "trilogy gamer profile desktop name etc" to desktop and it seems to have worked! When I was able to load the game, it said one or more saved file was corrupted. We are back in business. Thanks for all your help!

Sorry for the late reply, had a busy weekend. 

  1. Make sure Steam and EA app are closed.
  2. Disable the internet connection of your PC.
  3. Go to your "Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save\” folder.
  4. Move the "ME1, ME2 and ME3" folder and to your Desktop. (The folders must be gone from the original path!)
  5. Test the games. (Do not go online before you tested.)

    Didnt work, same thing. launcher works, then crashes at splash screen at the mass relay before starting any three of the games

    Check if the "Documents\Bioware\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save\" folder is still empty please. 

    If yes Post a new DxDiag. 
    Do you use any mods? 

    The "VCRUNTIME140.dll" is a "Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 - 2022"
    DLL.
    This error with the DLL at MELE is usually a clear sign of either a corrupt save game or a problem with the Visual C++ Redistributable 2015–2022 itself.
    Having checked both, and your game is still not working, so there must be another issue.

    I do but they didn't cause any issues before, I don't think it is that. Dxdiag attached, what could it be?

    The might do now. You should vanilla the game until we got this solved. 

    Was the "Save" folder still empty?
