Mass Effect legendary edition doesn't launch ME1 and ME2

Question

My brother recently gifted me the legendary edition on origin and i downloaded it on an external hard disk because of the insufficient space on my :C disk, the legendary itself launches with no problems at all but once I try to boot up the first and second game it only shows the loading image of the game with no end.

I tried to look up what other people with a similar problem did to fix it (.exe file missing in the folder, updating the graphic driver, turning off Bluetooth, performing a clean boot) but sadly none of them worked

Games on external disks is still a "might work don't have to" thing.
Do you have a second internal hard drive or a second partition?

Thank you for the suggestion, it took me a couple of days to make space in my hard disk and manage to reinstall the game but sadly I still have the same issue as before.

The Pentium CPU G3220 is unfortunately beneath the system requirements of the MELE.

LE1 and LE2 both need a CPU with at least 4 logical cores to run, yours has only 2.
