freezing menu is not what bothers me. my problem is with the quest itself. i am supposed to enter med bay on this quest but i cannot. i get locked at transfer zone and the doors would never open.
in any other times i have no issues with menu, it works well. all bugs are at transfer zone
and yes, i really really dont want to reinstall my game and lose all progress. i can do fine without this mission but i hope this report will, dunno, help you fix this bug and help other players avoiding it?

Community ManagerI understand, the concern is that if there's also freezing going on that some game files may not be working properly so repairing the installation may help.
Otherwise this sounds like it may just be a matter of getting the right items in-game to proceed.
The doors in this particular mission are locked until you find a personnel ID that leads to a patient number. I'd check through a guide like this one to make sure you're not missing anything in this particular area that would prevent those doors from unlocking.
