the light particles emit squares of the same color as the light, very striking and annoying.... who encountered it? How to fix?
The same exact thing just started happening to me as well today. No idea why.
Also noticed that all of the glow effects on lights coming from weapons and single light sources are separated from the source. They float just outside of it.
Mine is no longer doing it. I tried doing a repair to replace any mods I had put in but that did not work. So, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and now it works fine.
Mine still does, and this bug is in all parts of the game.I did not install the mods, and reinstalling the game itself did not help...
Yes, I already figured it out, thank you! So at least you can play without straining. Although in my opinion, the depth of field of the graphics was better. Let's hope this bug will be fixed with patches...
I have the same problem and I just see your post is almost a year old and it has STILL NOTHING DONE!
Deactivating Deph of Fields IS NOT THE SOLUTION!
Here is the solution:
After many hours of testing, I have now found the culprit.
The Nvidia graphics card setting : Antialiasing - Transparency
No matter which setting you take (except the first one, I think Simple) probably causes conflicts in Unreal Engine 3 and these ugly shifts of the light effects follow ....
After switching off in the Nvidia driver I can hopefully finally enjoy the game.
