Mass Effect Legendary Edition low gpu usage

I recently downloaded and started playing mass effect 1 but I have very low fps rate, around 40-55 fps and my gpu usage stays around 20%-40% and never going higher .I tried playing other games and this issue does not occur anywhere else. I have tried disabling all overlays, turning off vsync and putting Preferred graphics processor to High Performance Nvidia processor. Also I have no peripherals attached.

My specs:

Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660 Ti Mobile

i510500H

16GB ram

Is that the Original Mass effect 1 or the Legendary Edition Mass Effect 1?

    Do you use any Mods?

Did you edited any ini files of the game?

Pease create a DxDiag in text file format and post it with your next reply. You can do that  with the "Choose file" button at the bottom right corner of the reply window.

  • It might take a while though, I don't have my laptop at the moment and I don't think I'll get it back for atleast 2 weeks

  • Forgot to add, but I do use the "ALOT" mod for me1 legendary edition

The first step is to vanilla the game to see if a Mod is responsible for the problem.

    Repair the game.

(Origin: Game Library > Right-click the game cover > Repair)

(EA app: My Collection > Click on the three dots on the game cover > Repair)
(Steam: Game Library > Right-click the game > Properties > Local Files > Verify integrity of game files.)
