Not sure if coming back to an old thread is the best way to get help but this is pretty much the exact same issue I am facing right now. I was able to play ME1 and 2 with no issues but now, after 12 hours of playing ME3, the game won't launch anymore.
For me the banner appears, I can track that ME3 opens up via Task Manager and see the loading screen of earth, only for the game to stutter and close (without error report) and return me to the launcher.
So far I have tried:
launching ME1 and ME2, which still works fine.
starting a new save file because it might have been a single corrupted save but no luck, I cant start ME3 at all anymore.
verifying and repairing the data both via Steam and Origin.
re-installing the game.
turning off the Origin overlay in-game and the same for the Steam overlay.
updating my driver.
- starting ME3 directly as administrator (this seemed to work in the past for people with broken launchers).
If anyone has a solution to this annoying problem I would be really grateful because I am heavily invested in the conclusion of this story and the last thing I need is being unable to even start up the game...
