Mass Effect Legendary Edition Not Launching

• Valve Index VR (but detached from the PC before starting Windows and never attached when Mass Effect started)

@epic2348  Try disconnecting the Citrix Indirect Display Adapter, which can sometimes cause problems in a variety of games.  Restart your computer after disconnecting and before trying to play.

Your E drive is also quite low on storage, at only 6 GB free.  While it's not as critical as it would be if this were your system drive, it's still a good idea to clear at least a little more space.

@puzzlezaddict I completely uninstalled Citrix (the Citrix video device is gone) and restarted the PC.

But it's the same: a red icon with a white M appears in the application bar and the cursor change to wait cursor.

If i click on the application start button a black fullscreen window appear but the cursor still in wait mode and Windows says that the application is not responding.

Now E: (the games drive) has 48 GB of available space.

I don't know if it effects MELE, but I know Razor products program often effected other Bioware games such as DAI and MEA causing them to not run.  So you may also try disabling the Razor program and see if it helps.

I was finally able to start the game.

I don't know exactly what happens:

• with the mod launcher, despite waiting some minutes, only a splash screen appeared for ME1 and ME2. Nothing for ME3.
• when I retry after a while ME1 started
• than I disabled 2 VPN network interfaces
• now also the original launcher works and is very fast
