Mass Effect Legendary Edition offline workaround
Steam deck.
Can't play mass effect offline. EA will not allow me to. There must be a workaround. I have proof of purchase, I bought the game honestly it is not pirated.
The always online DRM makes it very hard to play this game because my home internet is very spotty (I live outside an urban area in farm country) and I travel a lot for work, often in wilderness settings for weeks on end. Mass Effect is my favorite game of all time, but I cannot play it.
I can't even get my money back because it took so long to download all my games on the slow/inconsistent home internet that by the time I knew something was wrong, I was outside the refund window.
