Mass Effect Legendary Edition won't let me record my gameplay with Bandicam

Mass Effect Legendary Edition won't let me record my gameplay with Bandicam... it keeps saying "Failed to start video capture." All my other games and the Mass Effect legendary edition engine work, b...

    @Teri3501 Discovered it was due to the HDR being turned on in the game. As soon as I turned it off it worked.

I had the same problem.  I was using the EA desktop so I switched to the Origin launcher and it worked there.  Using Bandicam as well.

Update:  When I switched over to Origin, I lost my surround sound.  After I took the steps to fix it, bandicam quit recording there as well.  Failure to capture audio.  Due to the openal32.dll I had to add most likely.
