after testing the scenarios and places I thought I have this fps drops, I discovered that its not place related.
but as in my previous post, its always after the 44 minute mark in the game (Both ME1 and ME2) no matter where I was currently at in the game.
Anyway, I did a file intergrity check for ME legendary last night and the steam launcher states that 4 files fails to be verified and has redownloaded them (around 700 mb)
Hopefully these are the cause of the fps drop.
🙂
Thanks for the reply, btw. I'll be back if the issue is still there after this file check. LOL.
Sad to report, the fps drop is still happening..
it happened at the 51 minute mark last night.
So if anyone got any ideas for me to try, please do.
its pretty annoying to be in the middle of a fight or exploration and having to shutdown and restart the game every time I pass the 44 minute mark.
lol.

Do you monitor the temperatures of you hardware.
Yes, the temperature rarely gets above 65 celcius as I maintain the FPS to 60
Do you monitor RAM and VRAM usage?
My ram is 32 gb, so I don't think ME2 will eat that all up. LOL

There is a chance that it does exactly that. It is called Memory Leak.
Please preform a clean boot and test the Game in clean boot mode.
Make sure that Afterburner and similar software is disabled.
You should also disable your virus scanner if it is not the Windows defender, you can play offline to do that.If the problem is no longer present a third party application or service is responsible.
If that don't helps:
- Download hwinfo64 (The green button) > Install and execute the program > Sensors only.
- Click on the sheet with the green cross (logging) > give the file a name and save it to a place of your choice.
- Wait 5 Minutes > Start MELE > Play until that problem occurs and tray to play about 5 minutes longer > Stop the hwinfo logging (the sheet again)
- Rename the Log to > ">your name for the file<.CSV.txt"
- Upload the Log file here as you did with the DxDiag.
- Download hwinfo64 (The green button) > Install and execute the program > Sensors only.
