I have decided to just play through the game and skip Eden Prime, just hope I get the best ending. I have gotten up to the Citadel coup and I don’t really want to go all the way back to the beginning

Community Manager@FireNinja7198 Almost sounds like a corrupted save file. Is this the only place it happens?
Have you reloaded any saves to see if the game pushes past that?
When you load into the game, can you save the game as a new save file, and then close the game, reopen and manually load that new save file, and then try again?

I have tried restarting and playing through the opening missions and tried Eden Prime after Palaven, but every time I finish the debreif with Hackett I still get the black screen (so I don't think it could be a save file issue.) I have been playing through the other missions skipping over Eden Prime (up to Tuchanka: Cerberus Bomb) and I have not had any problem like that black screen.
Community Manager@FireNinja7198 When you started over, did you move the save folder out so the game did not recognize the files? I tried to play through this a couple of times to test it but I cannot reproduce it.
This indicates that it may not be a save, but it isn't the game itself as it would happen to myself and others. I have seen others report issues with this one specifically but most said start over, repair the game, etc.
I did see a few people say changing the resolution of the game got past that.
I have also seen others say that changing the MSI Afterburner helped.
