Mass Effect Legendary Processing

I preordered Mass Effect Legendary on PC download.  I was supposed to be able to download it yesterday.  I purchased it on 3/26/2021, yet when I try to download it I get a failed error.  I have submitted tickets and talked to 2 agents who assured me that the item wouldn't be processing much longer. That I had plenty of time before tomorrow! What in the world is going on?? I want it on my PC, because I prefer it to console...at this point I think I am going to have to refund it and get it on my PS4. 

Is there anyway to release the download? I am worried that come tomorrow, I still wont be able to play. I have bought plenty of games with Origin. I JUST bought Skyrim on my PC, a couple of weeks ago. I had no problem with it. So why with this, is there a problem?

    I want to say thank you, after fighting with Origin for almost 24 hours and why my download wouldn't work even after doing all the steps of clearing my cache and restarting my computer. Finally went and check and saw my pre-order status was still pending so I canceled it and went to Steam instead. Also want to add, my pre-order wasn't recent it was made the same week it was available for pre-order.

    Well fantastic. I just checked and mine is also processing. What the heck EA? 

    I can't even cancel and repurchase on another platform because I don't have the funds for that atm and a refund will take 3 days.

    Thanks for posting this though, seriously I never would have suspected that was the culprit for why I can't download it. I preordered it the day it was available to do so and the payment definitely went through!

    Hi, the most common reason for items to be stuck processing is if the pre-order was made a while back and the payment method has since expired.

    Generally the money for the pre-order isn't taken until fairly close to launch rather than at the original pre-order time. So you can check back on your financial records to check if you have indeed been charged, and if your payment method used at the time is still valid. If you weren't charged, the easiest thing now is to cancel and re-order.

  • My payment method was not expired, I used the same one to purchase this at GameStop. Also, the charge was already processed at my bank.

    Do you have klarna or quadpay? You can sign up for them, go to GameStop on their app, and click pay with K, or quadpay whichever you use. You can get for 16.00 down and pay 16 every 2 weeks.
