Had to try to reinstall Mass Effect Legendary after it wouldn't load when I was forced to give up Origin but now it won't even download. I've tried clearing the cache, admin mode, turning off firewalls and antivirus, clean boot and the guys on chat says they fixed the license problem that plagued the EA App. His only suggestion is to post here. Anyone have ideas?

@LawDog116 I would suggest switching back to Origin for the time being. Origin download link. To avoid the forced migration from Origin to the EA app: Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time. Copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Origin" (Without the quotes) into the new Window > hit ENTER. Open the "local.xml" file in the Windows Editor Add the following line at the bottom of the file. <Setting key="MigrationDisabled" type="1" value="true"/> Save.

Dont tell me we going to fix it soon. I had the same problem with Fifa from past year, also with gamepass same problems. Stick to Origin, until you figure what the F* you are doin wrong.
I allready see in my steam download update from DA:O and NFSU.

DONT PUSH ON COSTUMER APP That THEY DONT WORK

I wouldn’t have put it this way, but I’m pretty frustrated that I tried to open ME Legendary Ed on my Steam Deck today and it made the update and now it won’t launch. Can you please provide guidance for us? I’m in the middle of a play through!

cannot skip anymore... EA decided that it is time to kill ME LE
The thread is open for more than a month and the only thing that was done was making sure that we cannot use origin to launch the game anymore, instead of fixing their new bloatware.

Hello.
There is no Logs file/folder in EA Desktop! I have the same problem and I think it is due to my 2MB/s internet connection. EA app can not perform calculations and can not estimate downloading time for 110Gb ME LE and I think it has something to do with the exception in the EA app code. I have no problem downloading DA:I, it is around 32Gb. I had no problem downloading ME LE via Origin but was forced to install EA app while the game was still downloading (downloaded 17.5 Gb). I've tried almost everything, to continue downloading in Origin Games folder, to move folder in EA Games, install/uninstall EA app, app recovery... There is Mass Effect Legendary Edition folder in EA Games folder but no ME1, ME2, ME3 subfolders.

Ok, my bad. There is Logs folder in PROGRAM DATA! But it does not work. And when I delete everything except Logs, info about other games I am downloaing in EA app are also deleted.

Delete the ME1, ME2 and ME3 folders that Origin created.

In EA app > Click on the 3 lines in the top left corner > Help > App recovery > Clear cache.

Restart the PC > Test
