I am just wondering if the Mass Effect DLC Pinnacle Station was still available? I have Mass Effect on Steam, and I really want the dlc (I already have the free one) but the forums say its only available on Origin, but all the links are dead and I can't find it. Is Pinnacle Station no longer being sold? Thanks!

Well, it's available as part of the trilogy, I believe. I can't find the link on Origin, but they just gave it to me yesterday as a part of getting my saved games to function. (Long story, another thread from today) I don't hear great things about PS. Bring Down the Sky, otoh... and that one's free, though I don't know if it works with Steam. Can't think of why it wouldn't.

They're doing you a service by not offering this DLC anymore. It's absolutely awful.

Yes. Pinnacle Station would be nice to have available again.

Yea, it shows up in Origin that I have it but I don't think it works in game.

Is that true? Anyway, I'm downloading it through Origin to see by myself!

Also, according to PC Gaming Wiki:
All DLC is pre-packaged for free in the base install of Mass Effect on Origin. People with purchases before the implementation of DLC into the base game can update their game on Origin to receive the DLC.

It is definitely true that the same product code is valid for both Steam and Origin installs.

But ME1 is a special case in that there wasn't a stand-alone version for Origin. One had to go through an EA Game Advisor and some behind-the-scenes messing about to get it working.

I have heard that Pinnacle Station is included in the "Trilogy Edition", but can't confirm that.

shut the hell up u have no idea what you a talkin about they r doing us a favor coz its aweful? shut up they should have given us a choice weather we want it or not you are just stupid the choice is our weather we want it on or not im a huge mass effect fan and im pissed off that steam dont include pinnacle station and all u say is they done us a faver coz pinaccle station is aweful well it shouldnt be their choice weather we have it or not its down to the gamer weather they want it on or not im pissed off steam didnt give us the pinnacle station choice that is bloddy stupid

Don't call someone stupid when you type like that.

You DO have the choice to play Pinnacle Station. It's part of the Trilogy Edition, so buy that.

I still stand by my opinion. Pinnacle Station is the worst DLC I have ever played of any video game. You are allowed to disagree, but I still believe EA pulled it offline because of how terrible it is.
