Mass Effect PS3 trilogy - Conrad Verner
Hello!
I'm considering getting the trilogy on PS3; sorry if I've not looked hard enough but I can't seem to find a definite answer to this; I found this thread which looks promising:
But, even if Conrad is patched back into the PS3 version of ME2 now and is present in ME1 and 3, is the save bug that was present fixed? I remember having to use a save editor to fix it on PC and get the Paragon version of the encounter, so is it fixed on PS3?
Thanks!
I don't think they fixed it. It was cause an inconsistency with ME3 because there Conrad verner breaks the fourth wall and references the bug.
"I'm sorry if I said you pointed a gun at me if you didn't. I was under a lot of stress."
Conrad Verner never needed to be "patched into ME2" in the first place, everything was already on the PS3 version when it originally shipped, you just never had a chance to get him before ME1 as his flags couldn't be activated without a ME1 import. Now that there is ME1 on PS3 and you can import a character everything works the same as with XBox or PC-version of ME2 and ME3 when importing.
They didn't fix the Paragon Choice on XBox or PC officially, so I doubt they did so on PS3 and as fredvdp also pointed out it has become a running gag in ME3 where Conrad even mentions that he might have gotten mixed up with Shepard pointing a gun at his face, so it'd be even counter-productive. See the Mass Effect wikia about him.
