Hi recently purchased Mass Effect Trilogy, installed Mass Effect 1-2 from the disc and 3 via download on the origin site. When starting Mass Effect a box comes on the screen telling me that Mass Effect has stopped working. Mass Effect 2-3 work fine.
System is windows 7, 64bit, i5-3570 @ 3.40ghz 16gb ram with an nvidea geforce gtx 660 2gb
Did you use Origin? Did you redeem the code on Origin? If so, then try to repair install (right-click) and/or patch. (Repair install should patch it up for you anyway). If it still fails, go to the executable file in the Program Files (.exe), right-click and choose "Run as administrator" and probably run it in Compatibility Mode for Windows Vista/XP. Best of luck!
