me 2 legendary edition crashing

Please help!

I am trying to play me2 legendary edition but whenever i first recruit a new character by completing a mission, the game crashes.

I have tried mordin's mission and Archangels Mission and when i complete it and it should go to the cutscene on the Normandy, the whole game crashes from the loading screen.

Please forgive me if i am being dense, still quite new at this.
