Try the "disable origin in game for this game" option in the game properties. Had the same problem and that fixed it for me.

hey ... i am haveing the same issue.. where do i find 'disable origin in game for this game'.....i looked in the M.E. shortcut..then went to properties... i didnt see that anywhere any help would be great ... thanks
