    • Close EA app and Steam completely. (not just minimized in the tray.)
    •  Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box..
    •  Enter or copy and paste: "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (Without the quotes) > hit ENTER.
    • Delete the "License" folder.
    • Test.

    This solution doesn't work anymore.

Are there any alternatives to solve this issue?

  • Hi,
Also getting the exact same error as the screenshot.
    Reinstalled the game multiple times.
    Deleted License Folder.
    Cleared temp files.

All the other solutions offered on different forum posts don't seem to work.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    Yes.
The message appears exactly the same way.

I tried other methods, like clearing the temp files, but nothing has worked so far.

    IllusiveMatt Hey,

Did you clean out the PC registry at all? When you uninstall the game, the registry entry is not always deleted. Also, do you have more than one drive? If so, have you installed the game on both drives or just one?

    • Go here and download "Revo Uninstaller. (The freeware version, Portable version works too.)
    • Run "Revo Uninstaller" > EA app.
    • At the end of the main uninstall, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. > Select "Advance" > Browse.
    • If "Remaining registration content found" is displayed > Select All > Delete > Next
    • When "Remaining Data and Folders" is displayed > Select All > Delete.
    • Restart the PC
    • Download a new EA app setup exe from here. (Do it even if you already have the installer!)
    • Install EA app.
    • Run EA app as Administrator > Click the EA app shortcut on your desktop > Run as Administrator.
    • Test.
