Playing ME1 Legendary on PC/ NVIDIA GTX 1050... Not sure if it's just the card (I know... It's old...), but the Galaxy Map doesn't have any "sparkling" stars to show additional finds and locations for side quests. Noticed it on the Privateer side quest. If it's consistent on multiple cards or platforms, people new to the game won't notice that they're missing things.
I don't recall that ever being a thing? Generally a person has just to that cluster, then system and then each individual planet to either survey and land upon. Of course not all planets will have the option to do any of that.
I'm also experiencing this bug. I missed so many secrets on the galaxy map (completely forgot about them considering the last time I played was 10 years ago). Had to go back to each area and painstakingly scan everywhere.
